Bu \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmada yenilik temelli b\u00f6lgesel geli\u015fme s\u00fcrecinde kalk\u0131nma ajanslar\u0131n\u0131n rol\u00fc T\u00fcrkiye \u00f6rne\u011fi ba\u011flam\u0131nda incelenecektir. G\u00fcn\u00fcm\u00fcz bilgi \u00e7a\u011f\u0131 ekonomisinde b\u00f6lgesel geli\u015fme, b\u00f6lge kaynaklar\u0131n\u0131 rekabet\u00e7i \u00fcst\u00fcnl\u00fckler sa\u011flayacak teknoloji geli\u015ftirme faaliyetlerine y\u00f6nlendirmek suretiyle, olanakl\u0131 hale gelmektedir<\/span>.<\/strong><\/span>Yeni fikirlerin yarat\u0131lmas\u0131 ve ekonomik faaliyetlere uygulanmas\u0131 olarak tan\u0131mlanabilecek \u201cyenilik\u201d (innovation)<\/span> <\/strong><\/span>ise, iktisadi b\u00fcy\u00fcmenin uzun d\u00f6nemli performans\u0131n\u0131n temel belirleyicisi olmaktad\u0131r. Bilginin yarat\u0131lmas\u0131nda ve \u00f6\u011frenilmesinde b\u00f6lgelerin bilgi yo\u011fun kapitalizmin ana unsuru olarak \u00f6ne \u00e7\u0131kmas\u0131, b\u00f6lgesel politikalarda da \u00e7e\u015fitli de\u011fi\u015fim ve d\u00f6n\u00fc\u015f\u00fcmleri g\u00fcndeme getirmi\u015ftir. Bu d\u00f6n\u00fc\u015f\u00fcmle beraber ortaya \u00e7\u0131kan kurumlar B\u00f6lgesel Kalk\u0131nma Ajanslar\u0131d\u0131r. Bu \u00e7al\u0131\u015fman\u0131n amac\u0131 T\u00fcrkiye\u2019de yenilik s\u00fcrecinin belirleyici oldu\u011fu b\u00f6lgesel geli\u015fme politikalar\u0131nda kalk\u0131nma ajanslar\u0131n\u0131n yerini incelemek ve Avrupa birli\u011fi deneyimine ba\u011fl\u0131 olarak \u00f6neriler sunmakt\u0131r.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Abstract<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

In this study, the role of de<\/span>velopment agencies, in the innovative based regional development process, in the context of Turkey as an example, will be examined. In today’s information age economy, regional development can be achieved through canalizing regional sources to the technological development activities which will provide some competitive advantages. Innovation, which can be defined as the creation of new ideas and their implementation to economic activities, is the main source of long run economic growth performance. That the regions become prominent as the main fact of the information intensity capitalism has brought forward some changes and conversion in the regional policies as well. The aim of this study is to examine the role of the regional development agencies in the regional development policies in which the innovation process in Turkey is the determiner and to offer suggestions by relying on the EU experience<\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
