Bu \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmada 1975-2006 d\u00f6nemi i\u00e7in, T\u00fcrkiye\u2019deki elektrik t\u00fcketimi ve gayri safi yurt i\u00e7i has\u0131la aras\u0131ndaki uzun d\u00f6nemli ili\u015fki ile nedensellik ili\u015fkisi ekonometrik modeller kullan\u0131larak incelenmi\u015ftir. \u00c7al\u0131\u015fmada ilk olarak yap\u0131lan e\u015f-b\u00fct\u00fcnle\u015fme analizi sonucunda, elektrik t\u00fcketimi ile gayri safi yurt i\u00e7i has\u0131la aras\u0131nda uzun d\u00f6nemli ili\u015fki bulunmu\u015ftur. Vekt\u00f6r hata d\u00fczeltme modeli do\u011frultusunda yap\u0131lan Granger nedensellik analizi sonucunda ise, elektrik t\u00fcketimi ile gayri safi yurt i\u00e7i has\u0131la aras\u0131nda tek y\u00f6nl\u00fc bir nedensellik ili\u015fkisinin bulundu\u011fu tespit edilmi\u015ftir. Elde edilen bulgular do\u011frultusunda, T\u00fcrkiye\u2019deki ekonomik b\u00fcy\u00fcme s\u00fcrecinde gayri safi yurt i\u00e7i has\u0131la miktar\u0131n\u0131n uzun vadede elektrik t\u00fcketimini pozitif y\u00f6nde etkileyen \u00f6nemli bir de\u011fi\u015fken oldu\u011fu ve bu nedenle de ekonomik b\u00fcy\u00fcme s\u00fcrecinde ortaya \u00e7\u0131kabilecek aksakl\u0131klar\u0131 \u00f6nlemek a\u00e7\u0131s\u0131ndan da uzun d\u00f6nemde elektrik enerjisi ve elektrik enerjisi \u00fcretiminde kullan\u0131lan birincil enerji kaynaklar\u0131n\u0131n herhangi bir aksama olmadan zaman\u0131nda temin edilmesinin, ekonomik \u00fcretim ve t\u00fcketim s\u00fcrecinin istikrar\u0131 a\u00e7\u0131s\u0131ndan \u00f6nemli oldu\u011fu s\u00f6ylenebilir.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Abstract<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

\n

In this study, long term relationship and <\/span><\/span>causality relationship between electricity consumption and gross domestic product in Turkey for the period 1975-2006 were investigated. As a result of the co-integration analysis made firstly in this study, the long term relationship between the electricity consumption and gross domestic product was found. According to the result of Granger causality analysis made in accordance with vector error correction model, it was determined that there was unidirectional causality relationship between electricity consumption and gross domestic product. According to the findings, it can be said that in the process of economic growth in Turkey, gross domestic product amount was an important variable which affected the electricity consumption positively in the long term and therefore it can be said that it is important to provide the primary energy sources used in electricity energy production and electricity energy in the long term and in time without any interaction for preventing the failures which may arise during the process of economic growth and for the stability of the economic production and consumption process.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
