Di\u011fer yandan, g\u0131da perakendecili\u011finde yo\u011fun bir rekabet ya\u015fanmaktad\u0131r. <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">Rekabet\u00e7i bir pazarda yer alan g\u0131da perakendecileri de co\u011frafik konum<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">, \u00fcr\u00fcn se\u00e7imi ve \u00e7e\u015fidi, sunulan hizmet kalitesi ve fiyat se\u00e7enekleri ile rakipleri kar\u015f\u0131s\u0131nda rekabet avantaj\u0131 sa\u011flamaya \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmaktad\u0131rlar. This sector which includes different types of enterprises, has an important position within the supply chain. Food retailing has also a big potential within retailing sector. On the other hand, an intensive competition exists in food retailing. Taking place in the competitive market, food retailers attempt to gain a competitive advantage against their rivals with their geographic location, product selection and type, offered service quality and pricing alternatives.<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span lang=\"en-US\"><strong> <\/strong><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span lang=\"en-US\">Additionally, food retailers also<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span lang=\"en-US\"><strong> <\/strong><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span lang=\"en-US\">incline to develop their own branded products. The purpose of this study is to examine the development of food retailing sector, competitive structure and the main factors affecting this structure<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial,
